Not Much Happening...

It's very hot here in Budapest, and I haven't done much lately.
I've read a few books including Mike Philbin's Jane's Game.
I loved that one. (I'll post the link here when my review appears at Novelspot.) I've been reading some blog posts by friends, too, and I received A LOT of emails.
I also wrote a few more poems, and I updated the European Reader website. (There are quite a lot of links to sites with poetry now.) I'm trying to lose weight again. Basically, that's all for now.
Music: Godsmack, Korn .

A Funny Children's Book About Cats - The Wild Cats of Piran: Chronicle One by Scott Alexander Young

The Wild Cats of Piran: Chronicle One is the first part of a series of children's books by Scott Alexander Young , who is also known as the creator of the TV series Max's Midnight Movies . The book includes charming illustrations by Moreno Christe and it is about the adventures of a group of wild cats and their clever, beautiful, and somewhat mysterious leader, Queen Felicia . Her best friends, Dragan and Magyar, all have very different personalities and these cats are able to use magic on certain occasions. They live in a nice seaside town in Slovenia, which is a great place for them, except for when they meet some of their enemies, including local rats and certain local humans. The book is also enjoyable for adults because of the story, the humour and because it is also beautifully written . Unfortunately, the story ends too early and the other parts in the series have not been published yet. The Wild Cats of Piran is highly recommended for cat lovers everywhere.

European writers site

I have recently started a mailing list for European writers, the EU Writers Yahoo group, and it seems we will soon start our website. Description: Writers from both from present and prospective member states are welcome. The aim of the group is to provide a place for discussion and getting to know each other. Writers are welcome to post news about their successes. Editors and publishers are welcome to join and/or send their guidelines (including the language of submissions). The idea for the group came as I was looking for groups for European writers, but did not find any, and I still thought there is a need for one. Join .
